What You Can Expect
- Old and New Grade Designations on the Certificate: 06Cr19Ni10 = formerly 0Cr18Ni9 = ASTM 304. All three are printed side by side, so customs and project consultants have nothing to cross-check.
- Thickness 0.3–60 mm, width up to 2000 mm; 2B / BA for cold-rolled, No.1 for hot-rolled, plus HL / 8K / embossed for surface-processed sheet.
- Certificates can be issued to GB/T or to EN 10204 3.1 in parallel; third-party inspection (SGS / BV) is arranged before shipment.
FAQ
The chemical composition is identical and the two are interchangeable. The difference lies in the dimensional standard: GB/T 3280 versus ASTM A240. We print both designations on the certificate so customs or drawing review will not reject the shipment.
We take the stricter value for each element (usually the carbon level and mechanical properties) and record both standard numbers on the certificate, so one lot passes in either market.
